Things are hard right now. They are for so many people I know! This life is hard, meant to be hard on so many levels as we are being made fit for eternity! How I've come to understand this truth ~ in such a concrete way ~ over the past few years. The Lord has taught me to pray, not for relief or rescue from the trial, but for perseverance, for contentment, for a teachable spirit to get what He's teaching me... To look not for the end but for the Hand that holds me and blesses me and is making all things new.
