A Star is Born

The Breakfast Song

Keep forgetting to post this.

The family went to a newsboys concert early last month. Had a blast, as always. The newsboys will always, always, be our favorite group! We are thankful to have so many family memories built around enjoying this group.

While we were at this particular concert (Jake's first encounter with them!), we were in the middle of belting out "The Breakfast Song" when Peter Furler stuck the microphone in our 1st-grader's face. Our little guy just kept waving his Captain Crunch box & singing like a pro. A gal behind us caught it on tape, and we got the footage to enjoy for years! We couldn't believe it! We were laughing & screaming our heads off!

The video is short, and our "star" is in the green hat. Listen closely, and you'll hear the voice of one who is near & dear to my heart. Peter thought he was pretty amazing, as well!
